Produces the sound of the sea. Inside the drum are about 200 plastic beads that roll and create the "rushing" sound when you gently rock the instrument back and forth. Because the beads are square rather than round, they produce a strong sound that can quickly be stopped again. Depending on how hard you strike it, the beads vibrate more or less, giving the ocean drum its very own tonal character.
