Suzuki was founded in 1953 by Mr. Manji Suzuki, but it’s a little known fact, that the very first product line ever produced by Suzuki Musical Instruments was the harmonica. The company later developed the Melodion which in 1956 was officially adopted by the Japanese Ministry of Education for use in schools. In continuous production and development ever since, Suzuki Harmonicas have become the most technically advanced harmonicas in the World.
